March 31, 2020 Updated March 31, 2020 The regional, club and provincial BCWBS programs for April 2020 have been cancelled and postponed. This includes the WBC Junior West Championship, originally planned for Kamloops, April 24-25. Updated Information: March 17, 2020 -BCWBS Statement on the Coronavirus (COVID-19)
March 13, 2020 As we posted, March 12, we have made the decision to cancel BCWBS run programs through the month of March, including BC-CWBL Finals, BTG nights, and our annual awards Banquet. In accordance with Wheelchair Basketball Canada (WBC) we will also be cancelling the Jr. West Championship, scheduled April 24/25 in Kamloops, BC. WBC also announced today, March 13, the cancellation of the 2020 CWBL Open and CWBL Women’s National Championship and all WBC sanctioned events and training camps. read more...

Wheelchair Basketball athletes share their passion for the sport in Fort St. John
February 25, 2020 BC Wheelchair Basketball led a great activity in the participant event at North Peace Arena Feb 21. At the request of BC Games Host Society we hosted an activity station for Wheelchair Basketball with the idea to give athletes not familiar with wheelchair basketball an opportunity to try. It was great to be able to give athletes not familiar with wheelchairs and adapted sport the opportunity to sit in a chair and see what it's like. read more...
