The final selections for the 2011 Canada Games team are complete. Coach Cheryl Corrigan and her staff had some big decisions to make in order to select the best team possible for the Canada Games next year. The games are being held in Halifax, Nova Scotia from February 11-18. The BC Wheelchair basketball team finished 7th at the last Canada Games and are looking to move up the ranks.

Corrigan will be looking to the veterans of the team Avril Harris, Eric Vliegenthart and Dieon Green who completed in the Games four years ago, to lead the team. The team are competing in Division II this season to get some much needed game experience as a team. The competition is going to be tough at this year’s Canada Games and all the players are working hard for team BC.
