Enter BCWBS’ Contest and Win Concert Tickets
It’s the end of the wheelchair basketball season and we want to thank everyone for a great year! Whether you’re an athlete, an official, a coach, a family member, a fan, or even a newcomer waiting to start your wheelchair basketball career, we’re grateful for your help building wheelchair basketball in B.C.
To say thank you, we’re giving you a chance to make your off-season a little more exciting. We’ve got two pairs of concert tickets and we’re giving them to two lucky wheelchair basketball fans.
There are two ways to enter:
- Become a fan of the BCWBS Facebook page. Then, leave a comment on the page telling us why you love wheelchair basketball. Want a second entry? Tweet at @BCWBS telling us why you love wheelchair basketball.
- Don’t have a Facebook account? No worries! Email arley@bcwheelchairsports.com and tell her why you love wheelchair basketball and you’ll be entered to win.
The concert tickets are courtesy of our good friends at Live Nation. We have two sets to give away:
- R5: This up-beat teen pop group includes a former regular on “Glee” and the star of the Disney Channel show “Austin & Ally.” They’ll be rocking the Commodore Ballroom on May 14th at 7 pm. Learn more at http://r5rocks.com/
- Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts: Barney Bentall and the legendary hearts are a long-time Canadian pop-rock band whose successful singles include “Come Back to Me,” “Crime Against Love,” “Something to Live For” and “Life Could Be Worse.” The band plays Saturday, June 8th at 8 pm.
To win, enter by May 7th at midnight. Winners will be announced the next day.
